It's been a busy couple of weeks, and I haven't been able to update. Got time for a quick one:

Day 14
Well, Beta didn't make it. Alpha is the sole survivor of this bunch, sure hope it's a girl! The first set of leaves got a bit brown on the tips at the end of the first week (still in the perlite cups), so I decided to go ahead and move it to the small bubbler on Day 7. It's now been 7 days in the bubbler, and it seems quite pleased. In the pic you can see where I pruned the brown tips off the first set of leaves when I moved it too the bubbler. It also looks like the leaves are wanting more light. I've got 3 CFLs here, one 55w and two 42w, for a total of 138w (in actual CFL wattage), equal to 550w. It's a total of 9,000 lumens in a 4-foot-square space (it's a very small closet).

Also, as you can see, I'm not using baskets in the bubbler. The hole is filled with a piece of foam insulation with a slit cut for the plant. I'm maintaining the pH between 5.9 and 6.0. Days 7-14 ppm was 400-450. Today starts 500ppm.

I'm also going to experiment with a couple of new things during this grow, so I'm keeping it small. I will only germinate 3 seeds, with the aim of having just 1 or 2 females. There are two bubblers I will be using, one for the initial 4 weeks or so, vegging until sex is determined, then a larger bubbler for flowering.
