Mixed signals

Okay, I seem to have no trouble getting started with small talk and all that easy stuff... But when it comes to getting a phone number, that's when everything shuts down, or else I get a phone number and then when I call to ask her out she says she has a boyfriend or some other reason. How am I reading the signals soooo wrong? I get the relaxed body language, moving in close, smiles, eye contact... :/

Probably, the problem is that you are looking for signals. It's always better to drive down the roads that have no stop-lights.

Guys do not translate girl signals well, in fact we suck at it.

It would be like if some aliens landed on the planet today, and tried to talk to us. Sure we'd think that them wanting to shake our hands is a friendly gesture, but really they are just trying to impregnate you with their aliens spores and explode your body.

I like that....and don't feel bad I'm sure alot of us are oblivious to all these famed "signals" women give out. I think its a scam and they are all trying to fool us into inadequacy!!!

But seriously...wish I could tell you man, I'm having the same problem...
