    My plant - Lowryder

Since no-ones replying to my grow log, I decided to ask these questions here.

^ That is my plant, it's a feminized lowryder. It is just starting it's 5th week of growing. My questions are:

It is growing quite large, and pretty soon I fear it will be touching the light of my growbox. I bought lowryder thinking it would only grow around 12 inches, I guess due to the DWC it's in, it will grow bigger. So what do I do? I don't have anywhere else to put the plant, is there anything I can do... like tie it sideways or something to prevent it hitting the lighting?

There are buds on my plant that arent getting any light because of how bushy/how many leaves there are. Does this matter? and if so, is there any sort of pruning or trimming I can do to it. If so, where abouts on the plant?

Lastly. My plants in DWC, under 125watt envirolight getting IONIC nutes. How much do you guys think she might yield?

    Thanks for your help :stoned:

    (my first grow btw)

edited to say: she's on 24/7 lighting if that makes a diff.

wait, there are buds during 24h light?

id assume you want to expose at least a few buds, but without hacking off all upper foliage. the buds dont really need light, but theyll need airflow

yer, I got my lowryder on a 24 hour light cycle. Autoflowering plant. But if anyone on here thinks it would be better if i went to 18/6 for more yield... then i'm listening.

id assume you want to give it some darkness, but that may not be true in autoflowers

That's what autoflowering MEANS... the WHOLE point of Lowryders....

    Google 'autoflower'.
PLEASE do your research before trying to give advice. You've been giving a LOT of advice lately that is shaky, AT BEST. I'm asking nicely for now:

    Learn first. Teach later.

You need to go 12/12. Lowryder virtually stops growing everything but buds when you change the photo period for flowering. The leaves are looking waxy... watch for mold and pests.

I would'nt know where to start even if something was going wrong with my plant, why i provided a picture.

Question: Having kept it on 24/7 lighting for its entire 5 week life... won't it be a large shock to the plants system to suddenly go 12/12? It's a feminized seed, I am worried it would turn hermie?

Some people are telling me because its an autoflower it would be stupid to have it on anything other than 24/7 lighting..... other people are telling me to go 12/12.

First of all, I'm pretty sure The Joint Doc did not make any femmed seeds for the Lowryder strain yet. So you might want to double check that it's not a male. Also, I believe 18/6, 20/4, and 24/0 are the recommended light cycles for auto-flowering plants. What are the temps like in your case? If they're a little high then switch to a cycle with less light.

"We now have available some sample feminised Lowryder #2 seeds - these are £30 for 5 seeds and available on phone orders only."

That is taken straight from the Joint Doctors lowryder site. I bought mine when that said Lowryder, and not Lowryder #2.

I'm pretty sure it is not a male, I can't find any balls.
