I recently found out that Kava is fat-soluble, so it can be more effective to take it with a fat/alcohol preparation, rather than tea, which is how it is often sold in the US.

It's good to hear that it works... I tried the tea and it didn't do much for me, but I think I'm going to try it again based on what I read about it being fat-soluble and since your supplements worked for you.

I learned a lot from it about supplements (as opposed to drugs) for depression and anxiety problems. Some of the supplements suggested in the book include 5-HTP, GABA, and DLPA. Does anybody have experience with these supplements? I would love to start a thread regarding non-cannabis ways to cope with these disorders, since they are so widespread and many of us can't use legally (or consistently, or conveniently).
