[The Dude Of Life]

So, yeah, i just got back from the police station, apparently i might be charged with aggravated assault (as an adult this time) for defending myself. Heres the story.
Ok so i went to meet with my rabbi at about 8:00 last night. Im coming out, and i walk all the way to the corner of the parking lot where i parked my car, and i see some guy lurking. Lo and behold, he is pulling the door handles to see if it is unlocked. I dont think he noticed me, he probably would have ran, so i just keep walking towards him knowing that my car is indeed locked and alarmed.
Im about 25 feet away and behind him when he pulls some black metal object from his coat and starts slamming on my window. Third time he hits it, it breaks and sets the car alarm off. I run at him as fast as i can and spear him into the door, its some sort of struggle all i know is that today i have a huge bruise over my eye. I back off and he swings at me with this object (i think it was a tire iron). Well i have been practicing krav maga (israeli fighting/disarming martial art) so this guy doesnt know what hes in for. I grapple his arm, snap it over my knee he loses the tire iron and falls to the ground. I thought he was done for so i turn around and check my car and turn the LOUD ass alarm off. Apparently hes not done though because i see him pull something from his coat and he starts swinging this at me, i think it was a knife, it was dark as fuck it could have been an icepick or something. I pick up the tire iron and swing it at him, once missing and i hit him in the face the second time. He falls to the ground and i am enraged so i hit him 2 more times before he stops moving. I was so fuckin scared i thought i killed the guy...
The cops show up about 15 minutes later (nice response time guys) And question me extensively. The thief is still unconscious in the back of the ambulance, so they cant get his side of the story which im sure would have been different from mine.
Apparently i knocked him unconscious, fractured his arm, jaw, and nose, he is still in the hospital as of today.
My mistake was hitting the fucker twice more after he was on the ground. If not for that i dont think i would have broken his jaw and this wouldnt have been as bad as it is (his jaw is wired shut).
I guess i shouldnt have left my ipod and laptop sitting on the seat. I just didnt think that some piece of shit criminal would go around robbing cars in a fucking synagogue parking lot, where have morals gone nowadays?
Worst part is, this is exactly what i served a stint in juvy for, felony theft breaking and entering and a petty theft, for going into a car and taking an ipod. Maybe its the man upstairs getting me back or something.
I dont feel any remorse at all for jacking the guy up, there was a gun under my passengers seat that most likely he would have found and sold on the street for really cheap.
Sorry for the long story again i just needed to vent.

Well the fact is, that he pulled a knife on me and was trying to steal my car. I spent all of an hour in jail (my mom came and bailed me out lol, 1000 dollar bail) and havent even talked to my lawyer yet. Im sure i can plead self defense though, the motherfucker pulled a tire iron and a knife on me and tried to steal my car. 'Nuff said. I just hope that holds up in court.

I would have done the same f-ing thing. I got my car stolen 3 days after arriving in San Diego while surfing-with everything I owned in it. That really blows bro, but keep your head up. Give me your addy in jail...I'll send you letters!
