Cloning off a DWC female at or near harvest time
PC....can you clone a clone? Does it affect the genetics at all....somebody mentioned to me about them "weakening" in future generations from too much cloning. Do you know anything about this? I'm about to try this on a FINISHING plant....any tips??

Stinky.....WAHHH I DONT WANNA REVEG!!!!!
But if I DID want to reveg oh great mind of the dankness growing how would you...I mean I.....do that? Would I have to trim all the flowers off and leave all the leaves? Would I have to put this thing in a bigger bucket to hold what I assume will be more tons of roots growing? My other problem with revegging a big plant like that is room.....not just room for the plant itself but for 24 hours lighting.....a little cfl and humidity dome seems much more practical to me and believe me I can ALREADY see screw ups if I try to trim roots or overprune or something....the entire idea is....SCARY!

Weedhound you can clone a clone indefinitely. That's how the 'elites' have been passed down, some as much as 20 years from the day the seed was popped.
Cloning a finishing plant is tough though. I'd re-veg first and THEN clone.
I have never once seen a successful clone of a finishing female. Not to say it can't be done though. I'd ask over at ICMag where the oldsters from Overgrow are still lurking.
Plus you're in DWC and I have NO CLUE how you'd go about re-vegging a DWC female in terms of differences in nute solution.
I'm going to start you a new thread for this. Where is Rhizome when ya need him?

You've never seen one make it? Ohh.....that doesn't sound good at ALL.
especially if I'm in the drivers seat. Thanks for your help and for making a new thread for me. I will continue to study this issue and will check over at IC Mag. They always scare me over there though.....feel sort like an ant... :wtf:
