Hearing a different language on weed...?

Hey guys. I live in a different country from that where I was born(Romania), since I study abroad. Now, one of my friends got me this great weed from a grower friend. They called it "The Velvet Hammer". Well, the first time I loaded it into my pipe, I'd gotten totally stoned from the first hit. I took the first hit, held it in, then I went like " Wow!"

Anyway, I took a bit back home when I went there on fall break, and went out with a good friend, parked his car smack-dab in the middle of the city, at the Opera, no less, rolled a big fat joint for the two of us. With tobacco! The reason for the tobacco (I never smoke with tobacco) is that the weed was so sticky that you couldn't get it broken up enough as to form a consistent weed base for the joint. so, i gave it some shape with some tobacco.

We proceeded to walk on to a street next to the opera and smoke. After about 5 minutes of smoking the joint, outdoors, we had barely smoked 1/3rd of it, and ppl started coming out of the opera. 90% of them, obv, used the street WE were on, to leave.
So we headed to a small lateral door of the opere, in front of which were some concrete stairs. We took residence there and continued smoking. After another 15 minutes, we stopped the joint (there still was about 1/3rd or a bit less left) since we decided it was enough.

We were so wasted we could do nothing but go to the car and lay there, on the seats, barely capable of moving to light a cigarrette. Well, after a while we realized that we had nothing to drink, and he had gotten hungry as well, so we decided to walk to the closest McD, which was about say 5-7 minutes away.

During the walk, which I'd felt lasted about 20-30 minutes, I thought I looked really high, and that ppl around me were looking at me (not feeling paranoid though, cause it's happened to myself and friends before and for us it's fun), since I looked high
But, more disturbingly, during the WHOLE walk (apparent 20-30 minutes EACH WAY) I thought that every conversation I heard between passers-by was not in their own language, but in Bulgarian (I study in Bulgaria, and understand some of the language). And a couple of times I even realized that this was WRONG, but as much as I tried to, I couldn't make it go away, and could only still understand the words as bulgarian ones (but ones I didn't know )

It was pretty cool and freaky, and I'd love to have it happen again, but have any of you had anything like that?

I know that feeling!
On a recent trip to Amsterdam I'd been watching TV for nearly half an hour before I realised they were all speaking Dutch!

The only experiences i had that were near to this one was when i was a newbie and used to get HIGHHH... i would hear sound of things (like the sound of water, or the wind in the trees), and it it would sound like words... like if the wind actually were a voice saying "wooosh"... it was very trippy... :stoned:
