Who wha!!!! Iron Maiden is comming to Norway to perform at Valle Hovin in oslo 24 july 2008. I've bought the tickets and payed for a hotellroom. I'm really really looking forward to this. It's my summer wacation tripp......... Now all I have to do is wait.......

Maiden is the shit man. I saw them in concert 2 years ago in Chicago, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I can only imagine that it's going to be an even more epic performance in Norway. They are getting a little old though :P

This summer I think I'm living in NYC again and just working there for the summer.

Is this your first Maiden concert? I saw them once, when they did an approximately 2 hour show at Ozzfest, and it was undoubtedly the best concert of my life! I was disappointed that they only played songs from their first 4 albums for some reason, but it still hands-down beat every other band I've seen (and I've seen quite a few).

You're in for the experience of a lifetime! I suggest you take a hallucinogen, if you're into that sort of thing, it would be mind-blowing heaven:stoned:

Maiden are amazing, I hope to see them sometime soon. I seen them in Dublin, as soon as they started playing the whole place turned into a moshpit. Nearly crapped myself when they played Fear Of The Dark(as soon as nicko did the count in on the drums).

The concert was great although I had to sit through Trivium before hand *shivers*.

i saw them at ozzfest a few years back. totally upstaged sabbath, and sabbath to me is a better band. hell of a show. they only played songs off their first four albums. it was basically a greatest hits show but from maiden thats what i want im not a die hard but they still kicked a lot of ass.

and i gather it was at the same tour gandalf saw them. have to say it was definitely not the best show ive seen. i was excited about them but they are definitely not like my #1 band. they put on a really good show but definitely not the best i have ever witnessed

I've got like 30 cd'd of theirs and they fucking rock seen them twice, once on dance of death tour, and once on the a matter of life and death tour, which the latter was a dissapointing performance, due to the fact they played their all their new album same order which left little room for much classics

i am debating wether to get a ticket to see rage in japan. it would be about 1500 or 3000 dollars all in all. but man would it be worth it. plus i love tokyo. but that would also be the deposit and 3 months rent on a house. lol

:jointsmile:I've only known about Iron Maiden and metal in general for about 3 1/2 years, so yes this will be my first maiden consert ever. And I'm hoping it will be a experiance like no other i've had. Before I was a pop music fan until I discovered that they are really onely about makin money and not real music experiances for the body and soul. Metal and rock, thats the real music for me. Don't be offended anyone. Everyone is alowed to like whatever music he or she might find sothing for the ear. I'm not about to throw stones in a glashouse. This is just my personal feelings about music;-))
But when my fiance played Iron Maiden for me for the firs time I was sold. And now i've also discovered W.A.S.P and they are great to. Yes I know they are old and all, but that gives me respect for these people,that they have been making and playing music all their lives. Take The Rolling Stones,they've been doing this for ages and they are stil popular even til this day. I'm tired of watchin half naked men and women trying to sell thir music by shoving off what they have benith their clothes. It makes me wanna pjuk!!!!!!!
Hell No.Give me real people making real music.
