I bought a piece tonight and I have a question...

So bought a bong tonight. It's a little glass water pipe, with an all glass piece. Which is my problem. The bowl has one big hole in it. So little pieces of weed fall down it into the water. I tolerated it tonight, because it was the first time. But should I buy pipe screens to put in it to keep my bud from falling in the water for future use.

resin will build up and it will start to hold it self in place and suck through when finshed..

ps. some people will say to use a screen, dont. It defeats the point of a glass bowl. Just bare with it.

not if you get a glass screen

anyways, i never use screens anymore.... if i'm smoking something extremely fine, say keif, i'll break up a stem or two and throw it in the bottom of the bowl then cap it off with whatever i'm smoking... by the time it starts sucking through, the bowl is pretty much cashed...

i also practicly never smoke a bowl til it's complete white ash, as the last couple of hits are themost disgusting thing i can think of atm.... so dropping a few peices into the water doesn't bother me..

I'd get a glass screen. They're like $3 at my local headshop and they make things way easier. You're smoking to relax so why have to worry about getting things to work. With a glass screen you just have to pack the bowl and you're ready to go.:bonghit:

yeah, glass screen will help until the resin builds up.. or just use a small pebble
