    Finding the right butter

    Hey guys, I've been looking around local super markets for the right type of butter to use, but so far I haven't (or don't think I have) found the right type. I started out looking for ghee butter, however none of the retailers carry it here. I live in the us and so far I have not found any ghee butter at Wal-mart, Randalls or Kroger. Can anyone suggest a different brand/type that they have sucessfully created cannabutter with? Any info appreciated, thank you.

    Uh, lol yeah Hehe, I kinda knew that. I was wondering maybe you could tell me what is considered high sat fat concentration? The best stuff I found in stores here is butter which has 12g fat out of which 38% is saturated.

    Noo don't do the olive oil, i tried that and failed a couple times
    You want to look for something like lard or ghee
    It's like pure fat, looks just like butter
    The thc is dissolved into pretty much all of the fat instead of just a little compared to using olive oil.
    Well the olive oil i used was extra light oil, it didnt work well..
    If you have a recipe that calls for oil just melt the ghee/lard before mixing!!!!!
    Good luck, as i still need to try this for myself.

    i would not lie to you. use olive oil.

    how in the world could you mess up the thc transfer into olive oil? 3 times no less?

    muct have been too low of heat. olive oil can take high heat, and not only does high heat transfer thc, it releases it.

    i have never had a problem with olive oil and a medium to high heat transfer. never. it works too well often.

    Hi weedness

    Ghee is just regular butter with the impurities removed.
    Just take a stick of two of normal butter (unsalted if you have it) and put it in a pan on a low heat.
    After a few minutes the milk solids will 'froth' up. Just skim them off with a spoon until you're left with a clear light yellow oil (should only take you a couple of goes and less than 10 minutes).

    That's all there is to it.
    You can store it in the fridge for a year or more, it won't go rancid because it's pure saturated fat. :thumbsup:

    i did like it said i put the crockpot on low,
    did your final product take much to get you wasted
    im not looking for something to give me a buzz, i want big time effects...

    yes everyday!

    it seems the heat was too low. cooking duration, like simmering on low heat, even for like 24 hours, wont do too much for you.

    as far as i know...... do this.

    just get 2 grams of bud, or of leaves and stems. dip in olive oil. dont drown, only coat.

    if you used too much olive oil, just work it until there is no oil dripping form the weed.

    then simply bundle the weed up, using the oil as a binder, into like a little cake thing.

    then put that cake thing, in a pan, and put the pan on the stove at medium heat.

    watch it. as you see the oil heat up, it will sizzile, and the weed will go from green to brown.

    when you see the weed go from green to brown, you will also see reds in the oil. : ) yes shades of red my friend.

    when you see the weed in the pan go from green to red/brown, when the stems in the mixture start turning, take it off the stove and just eat it like that.

    keep all the oil and the weed together. when you take it out of the pan, try to do it in one grab. try to grab it all at once.

    then, just sort of pack it into a little ball with your hands, and have water right there, place the weed from the stove in your mouth, and then swallow with water like you would a pill.

    you dont want to chew it. the idea is just to get it down your gullet.

    IMPORTANT- make sure all stems are less the 2 or 3 cm in lenght. if oyu are going to swallow without chewing, you cant have stems poking you like that.

    if you do exactly as i say, makng sure to not have it dripping with oil, and making sure the weed turns brown with heat and the oil sizzles and bubbles, you my friend will be high as hell for like 6 to 8 hours.

    you might find that 2 grams is too much. i just told you 2 grams becuase you have not yet gotten crazy with it. 2 grams is more then enough.

    the cooking process should only take like 10 minutes. 10 or 15.

    so boom, you do it, no complex cooking process and no cleanup, you save time, and you get high.....

    AND! i swear your digestive tract will feel much more settled. i dont know if its the weed or the olive oil, but i like never felt nautious again. im not bullshitting. digestive tract feels great.

    so you get high, you feel healthy, and oyu dont have to waste time cooking for hours or cleaing up. there is no clean up.

    like me, im lazy as hell...i dont even clean the pan. i just keep using the pan over and over again. so i dint even clean that.

    minimize the gobbeldygoop, and you can live the life millions of times. too much. youll do so much living that other people will not know how to realte to you.
