Thats not the point. If an American citizen is commiting a crime, he should be given due process and given a fair trial. Thats why the nuremberg trials were handeled the way they were. There was transparency in government and even though everyone knew these men were war criminal they were treated descently and allowed America to maintain moral highground. If your happy with secret government, secret prisons, torture, and habeas corpus being shit on then you are the one who isnt patriotic. How we are prosecuting this war on terror will destroy our credibility as a fair and honest country and the idea that you support American citizens not being granted their constitutional rights is obsurd. When anyone is labeled an "Enemy combatant" which is what this legislation allows their property will be searched without a warrant, they will be arrested, interrogated without a lawyer, tortured, and detained for probably a couple years in solitary confinment. This is a way to stiffle dissent from government.
