water the plant when the soil is dry, to test that simply stick your finger in the dirt up to your second knuckle, if its wet you dont need to water, if its dry, you need to water. Simply water the plant until some comes out the bottom. Depending on your enviroment, medium drainage, etc, etc will determine how often you have to water. Once you see the 5th set of true leaf's start with the nutes at 25% strength and then about 2-3 days later or your next watering you jump up to like 50% and so on and so forth until you reach 100% strength on the nutes. Also, every 2 weeks do a soil run-off test to see where your plants soil pH is, that will keep your plant extremely happy.

Hope that helps
