Plant With A Twist
I'm growing in a 15" x 12" x 35" old school speaker box.
2 x 26watt 6500k cfls daylight
2 x 26watt 2500k cfls soft
1 fan for air circulation (32cmu)
2 x intake/outtake w/ carbon filters on bottom of box.
Anyways...
What do you think my situation is? I'm a virgin grower. My pH is fine. The strand is Sour Diesel. Buddy cloned it for me, about a week after transplant.slogro Reviewed by slogro on . Well, heat stress can cause that. What you need to do is remove that tin foil as a reflector. It is causing heat spots within your grow. If your gonna use a speaker box, you need to paint the inside white, or get some mylar. Also, put a fan in there so that you can get that plant to hold itself up as it gets older.

Acute heat stress. Add ventilation. Lose the tinfoil. Be careful not to over or under water. I can't tell but that soil looks a little soggy. Just double check that.

Thanks guys, I'll remove that tin foil asap.. I already put a bigger fan in there.
Can anyone set me up on a watering schedule? It's a 1 gallon pot.

water the plant when the soil is dry, to test that simply stick your finger in the dirt up to your second knuckle, if its wet you dont need to water, if its dry, you need to water. Simply water the plant until some comes out the bottom. Depending on your enviroment, medium drainage, etc, etc will determine how often you have to water. Once you see the 5th set of true leaf's start with the nutes at 25% strength and then about 2-3 days later or your next watering you jump up to like 50% and so on and so forth until you reach 100% strength on the nutes. Also, every 2 weeks do a soil run-off test to see where your plants soil pH is, that will keep your plant extremely happy.
Hope that helps

Plant With A Twist
Alright guys.. Not looking good. Day 7
I watered them last night, pH of 6.0-6.5 abouts, gave them close to a liter. Now those twisty guys on top seem to of died off and wilted.... I have a computer fan blowing on them for air circulation, but doesn't seem to be helping.. I also removed the tin foil, but still need to paint the cab flat white. My soil seems a little dry and not sure if I should water them again, I don't want to over water. I just watered them last night. The little white guys in the soil turned orange/brownish.
Am I doing something wrong..?
I hate to be killing such a beautiful thing.
I moved my cfls about 3 inches from the top of the plant just a few minutes ago. Still on 24/0 light. 6 days since transplant.
They just don't look healthy...
