    Plant With A Twist

    hahaha

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I came home today and she looks pretty dead..... I'm going to flush her out and see where that takes me. If this doesn't work, I'll just assume the transplant was a complete failure.... but for now I'm just running 2 26watt 6500k daylights to bring them back... A little water for now, and tonight when I can open my cab, she'll get a nice flush.

    Thanks for the help guys.

EDIT: This is my first grow. I don't expect much, but a good learning process.

ow...comon pharma. im giving my honest opinion, and i do infact have several girls growing right now.

in my experience, a cup of water every other day is just enough to let the soil dry in the top 1/2 inch and then redampen

The point is, your only experience is the couple plants you have going right now. These forums aren't for your opinions - they are for people to get solid advice from growers with experience. The problem is that you feel the necessity to respond to almost every thread with totally bogus "advice" and some poor soul with a problem might just think you know what you are talking about and follow your "advice" and damage their grow.

You seem to think of all this as harmless fun. You don't seem to understand, or care, that someone probably put a lot of time, effort and money into their grow and that you could spoil all of that for them.

And yes. Alot of resources went into this grow, regardless of it's progress.

I just want to have fun and gain a little green from it.

Well sorry to hear your plant is bummin'.
A couple words of advice since you are now starting from scratch:
    -Don't re-use the soil.
-Get the new seedlings off to a good start in either an UNFERTILIZED seedling mix or rapidrooter plugs
-Check out the soil mix in the link in my siggy for the first transplant; it's HARD to screw up
-Don't feed ANYTHING until after the 4th set of leaves has unfolded fully
-The first feeding should always be very weak

To put an end to the argument over watering, everyones' plants will use water at different rates dependent upon the following factors:
    -Size of plant
    -Life stage
    -%RH and temperature in room
    -Composition of soil
    -Plant health
    -Distance to lights

To say 'use xxx amount of water every xxx days' is misleading, at best.

A grower should ALWAYS judge watering schedules by how light the pot feels. Avoid sticking your finger in there repeatedly- you'll damage the roots.
Never use a pot larger than your plant needs, because the moisture in the parts where there are no roots will just sit there and stagnate. Start off in a pot no larger than a party cup and transplant as needed.

Dude i think you should take a temp reading of your box. I have a similar size grow box and with two vent holes and a small fan i hit 95f with two cfl's.

Slogro- learn to grow something, anything else first before trying to grow something you really care about. Try some bag seed or even cheaper is tomatoe seeds. Tomatoes will grow alot like weed- fast when conditions are right and they suck the water and fertilizer too.
    Happy learning.........
