I usually use a screen when I'm smoking resin because sometimes it does melt but I don't usually mix it with weed because (a) usually by that point I'm all out of bud and (b) in a bowl of half weed, half resin the weed is usually gone in about 5 or 6 hits but the resin takes many more.
