I agree with Hydro. Having 1400 watts of lights in there, you're going to need to keep it well ventilated. Set up both of the lights in there, leave it running for a few hours with what ventilation you have now, and see what the temps get to. Decide where you need to go from there. Try to keep temps in the mid-70s.

If you'll be flowering and vegging in the same closet, you also need to make sure that each chamber is sealed completely so that no light can penetrate into the flowering side after the HPS lights are out. You don't want any light leaks at all.

I'd really like everyone to critique my room idea here. I'm using a basement closet I have. The closet measures 76" Wide x 24" Deep x 87" High. There is a shelf. Below Shelf measures 76" W x 24" D x 65" H. Shelf measures 76" W x 11 1/2" D x 18" H. Below the shelf, I'm gonna grow in 5 gallon buckets which measure 12" in diameter.
