For that kind of money to get there, IN CASH it's obviously dodgy It's no accident - it's not someones life savings. It's probably from a robbery than anything else, and that kids is far more deserving of it than anyone else. If he found it, it's his.

I think if you happen to find £40,000 laying around in a bag chances are it's for something illegal. I'd hand it in, chances are the criminals won't collect since they won't want to be quized over it. I'm led to believe if the person doesn't collect it's your right to claim it as yours? But the other good point here being, that if that £40,000 is genuine it could belong to someone who had it stolen or someone who just happened to lose it. They could then retrieve it and I'd be happy knowing that I done good. Although slightly upset that someone did actually collect it lol.

Put yourself in the shoes of the person that *LOST* that $40,000. That may be their entire lifes savings. It might be the money for somebody to keep from losing their home, it could be for *ANY* number of things. Either way, it probably represents somebody's lifes savings.

Would I turn it in??? hell yeah I would. I like being able to sleep at night.

FWIW, the question was not about smoking weed in case you forgot.

My own personal opinion, such as it is..... is that weed should be legalized with the *same* age requirements, laws, rules, and regulations that apply to alcohol....and yes that also includes the taxes on it.
