ABORTION: I believe this is a matter that should be the choice of the mother and the father of the child. However I do believe there should be some regulation on how many times one can get an abortion. What bothers me the most is when abortions are used as a form of birth control to irresponsible women/men. Yes I am throwing men in there because they??re just as responsible when it comes to using protection.
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION: I don??t agree with this and it isn??t working, and it??s also being abused.
BUDGET & TAXES: I say to begin with we should stop spending as much as we do over seas. Cut a lot of the programs that have no been working like the War on Drugs, and the No Child Left Behind.
CAMPAIGN & POLITICAL REFORM: ??TV makes enough money on what these people do and the news of the day, they should be required to give equal time to ALL candidates.? I agree with P4B here. I also believe that special interest groups should be forbidden to associate with politicians who are campaigning.
CRIME, DEATH PENALTY & DRUGS: I say if you do the crime you do the time. You know it??s against the law when you committed the crime therefore you should be held 100% responsible. I am not for the Death Penalty I believe it makes the supporters just as guilty as the defendant. Drugs in my opinion are not the problem. The problem is the War on Drugs.
EDUCATION: Give all control back over to the parents and the communities of the schools.
ENVIRONMENT: Even though I am not a believer in this whole global warming is our fault idea. I still believe it is our responsibility to take care of a planet that has been so giving to us.
EUTHANASIA: If you want to die, then that??s your choice.
FOREIGN RELATIONS:Mind our own business and worry about our own country??s health.
FIRST AMENDMENT, FREE SPEECH & THE INTERNET: Just as it says! The internet should not be regulated at all.
 GAY RIGHTS: I am all for it. Just because I don??t agree with their lifestyle they??re still citizens of American and deserve the same rights as a heterosexual.
 GUNS: Everyone should own one! =) If you have been convicted of a violent crime then you forfeit the right to carry any kind of weapon until you have proven to the community you live in you can be trusted with a weapon.
 HEALTH CARE: I don??t think a free system is the answer. Just because the Government pretty much destroys whatever they touch. I believe a sound and strong economy combined with competitive health care system is a great start towards affordable health care.
 IMMIGRATION: It??s against the law and needs to be dealt with. I do not believe we should be responsible for paying for millions of illegal??s who enter this country and abuse the welfare state.
INTERNATIONAL TRADE: I believe we should trade with everyone. I would also like to see a lot tighter security in our ports.
 LABOR UNIONS, JOBS & BUSINESS: I believe Labor Unions are a good thing when they??re 100% behind the people they represent, and have deep roots into this country??s history. We need more jobs in this country that??s for sure. Too many corporations are heading over seas and still making most of their money off the country they left. I think there should be some harsh penalties on corporations who bail just for cheaper labor, and better tax breaks. Crack down on companies who take advantage of illegal labor.
 MILITARY, WAR & VETERANS: I believe in a strong military at home. I think it is a necessity to have in order to keep our country free and safe. I do not believe that the military or its weapons should ever under no circumstances be used against the citizens they protect. War should always be the last option on the table. We should never do any kind of pre-emptive striking. We should talk and negotiate with all countries. Never go to war on suspicion. I believe the Veterans are neglected and deserve the best help and support we can provide for them.
 SOCIAL SECURITY & SENIORS: We need to be able to take care of the people who took care of us. Younger people should be able to opt out of paying Social Security and choose whatever they would like to invest in for their retirement.
