Anyone who likes Pink Floyd near Atlanta, GA.

Australian Pink Floyd, coverband for, well, you know, will be at the Fox tonight and tommorrow night.

To.pnight the sets will be Greatest Hits and the entire Wish You Were Here album, and tomorrow night, Greatests Hits and The Dark Side Of The Moon album.

We saw them last year, same venue, and they did DSOTM, so we decided to go tonight and catch Wish You Were Here (and undoubtedly, they'll play a few from DSOTM).

I am SO stoked for this one! They were amazing last year. Light and sound show just like The Floyd.

Tickets are still available - so if u r in the ATL area, I would suggest seeing this band. These guys are amazing musicians.

And if you guys who are elsewhere ever get the chance, go see them. it is highly doubtful Floyd will ever get back together, as there is a slight riff, I hear, between Gilmore and Waters right now (when wasn't there a riff between them, anyways!).

Just a heads up for all us Floydheads...

P.S., I'll try and post pics up tonight after the show, if I am able to get online, that is, for obvious reasons, LOL...

I went to that Aussie Pink Floyd Experience show a couple of years back. Possibly the same group as you'll be seeing. They looked nothing like the band, but sounded literally identical to the original band. The light show and lazers were the show, so it was more of a audio and light show. I didn't watch the band once I don't think. It was a good time, but being high is a MUST. Pink Floyd sucks when not high.

Have fun, and, remember, "All in all you're just a nutter brick in the wall."

I looked it up, and, a nutter brick is an indehiscent, hard-shelled, one-loculated, one-seeded rectangular block of clay baked by the sun or in a kiln until hard and used as a building and paving material.

ROFLMAO, BGIT. Leave it to you to find the answer, LOL! I CANNOT WAIT for the concert!

And No chowder, I disagree. Floyd is good even when straight. But they are a million times better when stoned.

No the band does not look like the members of Pink Floyd, but the music is indentical to the albums, and the show is as close to Floyd as you are gonna get in this day and time.

Although Roger Waters was REALLY GOOD a few months back!

Well folks, it's off to the concert. It is about an hour and a half to the Fox Theatre from where I live, so we'll take it slow, get something GOOD to eat FIRST, then toke up, and then go inside about seven. Concert begins at eight (yea, right, anyone EVER seen one start on time, LOL?). Seriuously, this group started on time last year, I mean, to the minute!

I'll try and post up later, but it'll be WAY later, LOL...

    See you guys!

Also, for those of you around the Baltimore/DC area, there is an EXCELLENT Floyd cover band (much cheaper price, too!) playing at Rams Head Live! on November 24th I believe- tickets are 15 bucks, and as I've seen the Aussie Floyd band, they're like 98% just as good, although the lights aren't as spectacular. GREAT singer for Great Gig in the Sky- but they're doing Animals and Wish You Were Here this set. Last year they streamed DSotM seamlessly with Wizard of Oz- it was spectacular.

    And the keyboardist is HOT!
