First steal grow - need advise!!

OK, here;s my plan - at this time I am not really trying to produce anything, I just want to gain growing experience. But it will have to be a stealth grow as my room mates don't want me to grow in the house. I would like to grow in the closet with DWC.

I would first start to grow a single plant in a 5 gal bucket. Over it, I'll use probably 3 CFL lights, wattage will be as high as the box can handle without heat problems. As soon as the plant has reached a size big enough to get 3-4 babies from it, I will chop it down and get some clones out of it.

Then I let the clones root and reach a size of no more then 5-6 inch tall. They will then be transfered to the bucket in a SoG style grow ...... I know I know, 3 plants don't make much of a SoG grow but I have my reasons.

So to make it simple - a 2x2ft(5 ft tall) grow box with CFLs. Used as veg for the mother, turned into a 12/12 SoG with maybe 3-4 clones.

Questions:
- How much CFL wattage can I keep in there without heat becoming a problem?
- Will 1 or 2 CPU fan running half speed be sufficient to keep the heat down?
- In this size grow, what kind of odor control method should I use? Will an ionizer do the trick?
- Not wanting to grow from bagseeds, where can I get good quality clones in Canada?
- Can you foresee any problems with this kind of grow?
- What kind of CFLs would you recommend for the veg and the flowering periods?

I was thinking about either Purple Haze or Blueberry or NL for this grow.

FIRST, change the name of the thread to stealth, not steal, since it took me a few seconds to understand...

you can use as many cfls as you want. id use at least 4-6 23watters (theyre easierst to find)

im assuming you live in canada, not antartica as your country is listed. theres no shops that sell clones, as it is a plant=illegal. there are decent seed shops in toronto area, or any online retailer. (BCBD is good) your box may need to be a little wider however.

And do you think a simple ionizer would do the job?
I have a big ass can filter and a 449 CFM inline fan but this stuff would be overkill and too noisy for this kind of grow.
So you think an ionizer would cut it?
Any size/brand you recommend?

ionizer for smell? those are pretty high voltage and im pretty sure they release bad ozone for plants....

go with a carbon sock or activated charcoal items.

you wont need big air in/outs for a small grow. just a small rotating fan or 18mm pc fans

No, I'm not talking about an ozone generator. I am talking about a negative ion generator which is a totally different thing all together.

You know how the air smells fresh and crisp after a thunderstorm? Well that's because the storm has released negative ions into the air. Some use it in their house and it's perfectly healthy.

But never the less, I think I changed my mind, I will probably go for a 250W or 400W bulb instead. If so I will install a cool tube and connect that to my can filter. So no needs for either an ozone generator or an -ion generator.

ok 3 cfl will not flower anything...i used cfls for a grow but i used a shit load more almost 400 watts. my plants were HUGE!!!! The bud was very fluffy which is good cause it burned nicely but if your plants are SMALL it wont be worth the effort or cost.. the grow will cost at least 50 or so and youll get about 50 bucks worth of weed that probably wont be as stong as if you bought it. For a grow like that i would try to find a 150w hps. it wont emit that much heat but you need to get that heat out of the closet cause the lamp wont get that hot but when their air cant get out it will build and fry your plants. also i dont see how you are gonna run a DWC in a closet cause your going to have to not only deal with the heat in the air but also the heat in you tub...it will be very hard and you will compromise stealth.

oh yeah and the problem with cfl is you just disperse your heat. instead of it all coming from one source like with one HPS bulb. Now it comes from every single bulb that surrounds your plant with heat.

This size box should accommodate maybe 10-20 plants in a SOG style grow. Let me know what you think.
