Mmm...salvia....

Using a bong or waterpipe of some sort helps a lot. You don't need a torch lighter, but make sure the flame is always on the salvia while inhaling.

Beware: the trip is extremely intense, though shortlived. My recommendation is to take a huge lungful, hand the glass off to a friend, hold the hit for around 30 seconds (easier than it sounds), blow it out, lie down, and trip out. Don't expect to really have much control of reality for about 10 minutes, so do it in a comfortable secluded spot where you won't have to move for a while.

Mixing it with your bud increases the bud's body stone for a while, but it wears off soon. Smoking it while already blazed, however, takes you to a whole different plane of existence; highly recommended.

My experience is only with the 5x extract; my local headshop sells 50x but I haven't had the nerve (or cash) to try it.
