rusty trichome, an understated fellow, was telling you to build your own. I've read only bad things about pre-built grow kits. There are too many variables in growing to buy an autonomous kit. You need to research how to build your own, as you'll need vast reservoirs of growing knowledge in order to have a successful grow anyway.

Growing Kits???
what size is the area you will grow in? what kind of lighting? soil or hydro?
There are alot of variables, and without specifics it is hard to give you sound advice.

...there is no way to accurately answer.
If just begining...a timer, a few 2x4's and some chains to hang your lights in a walk-in closet, is the cheapest way, and gets a bit more complicated from there.
Personally, I would start cheap, and develop a workable plan from your first couple of grows. That way you will know better what to look for in a 'complete system'.
Some folks don't need beautiful trays and racks, carbon scrubbers, CO2 systems, moon lights...Money is so easily wasted on unnecessary crap, just 'cuz you've read someone else has it. (kidding about the moon lights)
As a hydro store owner told me...it's difficult to expand your growspace, with a pre-built system.
HTH...Rusty
edit: are you planning on getting seperate systems for vegging and flower, or just use one space for both?

Growing Kits???
Well, Im planing to use my closet space to grow my plant. I havent decided if I want to use soil or go the hydro route. I would like to keep things simple and straight forward while growing.
I seriously doubt it that I would expand because I just want to grow my own supply to smoke.
