I've had about 10 seeds laying around for 3-4 mos. (in a dime bag in my nightstand). about 2 weeks ago I decided that I'd try to grow them... I have a 1.5ft x 3.5ft x 4ft grow room covered with reflective mat. and about 2500 lumens per sq ft(fluoros).

I tried the paper towel method first with about 5 seeds. after 2 days, nothing. Later I was looking around and found the cup o' water method (just drop the seeds in and let them soak until they sink), so I put 4 in and after a day most of them had sunk (but I still couldn't see a tap root).

I decided to just go ahead and plant them anyway. the mix is Peat moss, worm castings, perlite and maybe compost...(I can't remember), I watered once when I put them in and then just moistened the top with a spray bottle when they felt dryish. Well it's been 4 days and I've yet to see a sign of the little guys (well girls hopefully). I've got the temp about 70 f and humidity around 70%, a 1000 lumen lamp 2in above the soil and the room illuminated to 2500 lumens/sqft. Oh and I started at 24 hr light cycle the 1st day and turned it down to 18-6 after that.

So I guess I'm wondering if there is anything I should change/worry about my set-up to help them?

or am I just being impatient...lol
