greetings from the UK folks.
this place is great! a wealth of info for a first time grower such as myself, well, not strictly my first gro as i grew some from seed in my garden last year, took some cuttings and now i have them under cfl lights in my pantry. a new led growlamp (5000k) arrived in post this morning as the cfls are 2700k, which i will set up shortly.

Welcome! those plants look nice and healthy. You should start a grow log in the growers section and keep us apprised of their progress.

thanks i will.
they all come from seed found in stash and there seems to be two varieties from the same seeds.one has slightly darker broader leaves and has only a feint odour. the other is a bit more lanky and smells positively skunky.it seems to grow slightly slower too.

noob
i tried posting this in the grow log section but cant post pics there.
Last summer i grew a few plants from seed and ended up with two females apparently of different strains although they came from the same seeds.
They both flowered but one took longer and also had a more distinct smell even from a small size, that one died from frost unfortunately but not before i took a cutting.
The other one almost died but after i bought it indoors it jumped back into life so i put a few cfls (25 watt 2700k) on it and it started flourishing.
Iv'e taken a few cuttings from this one too and put it into flower about 9 days ago.
I now have 5 25 watt red cfls and a blue 5 watt led which according to the supplier chucks out 5000 lux at 12 inches.
I have it at about 10 inches but dont want to go any closer so as to get a wider spread of light.
I am planning to put more red cfls up the sides as the plant grows.
These plants have had no natural light (england doesn't get much sun this time of year)
any thoughts?
heres some pics
