New to all this...give me some advice as I research!

Ok as I post this I'm afraid I'll catch a little heat for this being my first post but what the hey...

I'm new to the city I'm in and long story short, I usually make a 4 hour drive home to get some quality buds on the weekends...as the bud I find here is usually brown.

Anyways my buddy calls me last weekend letting me know he has homegrown Northern Lights...couple hours later I'm upstairs at a party trying it out and MAN was it great.

So I'm sitting here Tuesday night, breakin up a nice J...and I found a seed...hmm interesting, been a while since I found one in some exotic nuggets...I left it on the counter. Yesterday I found 4 more seeds, and they are all germinating in the drawer.

Fast forward. I like to ramble...I'm sorry.

I bought a cabinet at Wal-Mart...a Sterlite that measures 35x25x19...one of those plastic storage cabinets....

I DO HAVE closet space. The largest is out on my balcony (third story apt) at around 4' depth and 4.5 width.. well, I lie, the largest is in my room, full length closet with sliding mirror doors...but its like 2.5' deep. And another in my bathroom, that is a little smaller than the balcony one.

My questions are...should I use the cabinet I bought in my room closet? Should I return it and just use one of the closets? I'm in Dallas and it's starting to get cold...figured a grow out on the balcony was out of the question.

I have some spare PC fans...would like to think I'm fairly mechanically inclined .. so I'm willing to fab up anything, I liked the rubbermaid growboxes...

Just wondering if I should take advantage of the space....or if that's a no-no since I'm in an apartment...what would you do in my situation?

Also: Is it too late to try to get something startedfor these seeds? They are most likely sprouting tommorow or friday, should I just scrap it and order some later when I'm fully ready? Is it possible to get a setup up and running in a day or two?

Thanks so much in advance, sorry if I come across as really new, I am . Believe me as I post this I'm rolling another and sipping my hot chocolate...reading up some more :stoned:

Imo read the guide in stinkyattics siggy, the Guide to Growing Da Dankness. You should probably even be able to search for it and find it easily, im not quite sure of what your asking. Thats probably because im pretty toasted (ive been drinking lemon lime vodkas since 5 this afternoon, and its about 3am now). Really the best thing i can say to you is read read read read read read. I spent around 60 hours just reading on grow set ups, growing, ferting, training ect ect and ive still tormented the shit out of my plant via making mistakes.

I wouldnt say scrap your grow or anything if you're fortunate enough to get some dank ass bagseed run with it! I mean hell if you mess up you didnt pay anything for your seeds, the first grow is more of a learning experience rather than anthing else anyways. Good luck with your grow! :rasta:
