Hash vs Weed

I prefer weed, i love the smell. BUT, saying that the purfumy scent of hash is also very nice, and sometimes not quite so damn stinky.

I make my one hash every week, so at weekends i can smoke my weed and hash together.

Buying weed here is abit of a non starter though -it's all soapbar full of motor oil and plastic bags.

If you want good hashish in the UK you gotta make it yourself - or have a dealer who makes it but doesnt like it, so gives it to me for free! Ha!

I once got about 8 oz of hash from him for free. He even put an A in it for me. Thats my initial.

*Agrees* Any hash i get around here is just Poobar, so i don't smoke it any more.

Does it give you a different high? If so, what are the difference of hash vs. bud?
Also, can you used a regular piece to smoke it, or do you need a special type of pipe?

personally I don't like hash. The high just isn't there, it's alright for some occasions. I'm sure when I make my own bubble hash i'll enjoy it more.

There are different types of hash, some stronger than others. I suspect that people who have been disappointed with it have not had the good types. I never had any that was made from domestic weed. It was always imported from Tibet, Nepal, Morocco, Lebanon, Afghanistan, etc. I'd snatch some up in a second if any were available.

I would like to try some hash that is made from the best domestic strains but, with New York City weed prices being what they are, it would cost a small fortune.

Even if I wanted to, I can't get "mids" to make oil with.....right now, no weed is available to me here - but when it comes around, it will usually be pretty high priced.

You can use any pipe, but I prefer smaller bowls than those used for weed.

Most of the good black hash I remember had an "indica" high - very physical, almost narcotic-like. These were the Tibetian and Nepalese types. The black/brown Afghani was OK, but not as good as the first ones. The reds and blondes, usually from Lebanon, Morocco, etc., were OK, but not nearly as good as the black varieties. They were priced accordingly, also.
