IAMSHAMAN sells several different kinds. Only their most expensive variety works. The others have little or no LSA, so they might be good for triggering a flashback or something, but otherwise, nada. You have to order their most expensive kind.

I did end up buying the most expensive ones. 20 some odd dollars for a pack of 50 and nothing. First I ate 4.... then 6.. then I was WTF!?! so I popped 15. Nothing. But their salvia is great

There ya go...unpredictable acid. But a LOT milder...same stuff as morning glory seeds (which also can]t be smoked, just eat the seeds). Body distortion is part of the fun. It's a gentle high, good for woods and beach but not a club or heavy concert...this was my first psychedelic high and I was out of body and stuff. The third time I took it I went to a rock show and ended up puking. I didn't feel bad, just had to puke. Went back in for the rest of the show.
If the seeds have black fuzz or powder on them, I would recommend wiping it off. It's a matrix that surround the seed in the pod and contains less fun alkaloids. Possible strychnine-type stuff. Buff off with a handkerchief (now aren't you glad you're eating 3-5 big Wood Rose seeds instead of a 150 little morning glory seeds?)
