Anyone ever experience something like this?

Over the last 3 months i've really grown fond of getting stoned on my own.

I love smoking a blunt or two and then sitting back and watching a dvd just waiting for the high to creep up on me.

Then suddenly it hits, i completely forget about the tv and just recess inside my own head. I feel my bed moving and morphing around me, sometimes i melt away into the bed, sometimes i melt away into the atmosphere.
I go into a really intense thought pattern, genrally about spiritual things or the universe in genral and the point of life, sometimes it scares the hell out of me, other times it's the most beautiful experiance ever.

Either way i wake up in the morning a slightly changed person, with evolved perceptions on life.
Sometimes i wonder if any of my friends have similar experiances on weed, or just smoke it for the sake of smoking it.

I'm glad people here have similar experiances and get similar enjoyment from this wonderful plant.

On a side note, i've yet to try reading when i'm in states like this but really want to, as i can only imagine the book becoming more alive than it normally does.

IMO cannabis is an amazing plant and my experiences seem to vary A LOT depending on who is around me and the setting. When I smoke around people I tend to get very talkative and ideas flow more freely. There is a certain threshold though, because if I smoke too much I will eventually get to the point where the nature of language becomes much more evident and I can hardly think/speak. Anyways, when I smoke alone I feel like I can freely explore my mind without Rating: 5

I completely agree everyone. I like connecting with my inner self when I smoke as well or connecting with the world around me...appreciating things when you are high is so much better than just doing it to get fucked up like some people.
