There are times when folk should be glad that the cops exist and should be a bit more aware of what it takes to be a good cop.
I have done some very illegal things in my time and I've had a very eventful life , I have spent time in the lap of luxury and I've spent time in prison.
I would've been considered a career criminal at certain points in the past but I still don't hate the police.
They do a job that most people couldn't do , how many of the "I hate the popo" brigade could face dealing with the true lowlifes of society, or telling relatives "I'm sorry to have to tell you , you're son/daughter has been murdered ?
There are good cops and bad cops and just like in the rest of society the public wants scandal so the media gives them it.
