It prevents me from reading everything I want to read here, but, on the other hand, at least it keeps me in weed. And food. And electricity. And a roof over my head, not to mention a car.

Hopefully it'll rain all winter here, and my wife won't come up with shit for me to do OUTSIDE....

Why don't folks try to find a job they can be (at least) content in, rather than a job they hate? I work as a vastly underpaid teacher's aide in the armpit of California. BUT- I LOVE THE WORK!!! That makes it all OK. If I hated my job, I'd seriously consider a career change! So your questions are- What do you love? What do you WANT to do? How do you get there?- Granny:hippy:

I love work ! but the reason for that is simply that I won't do any work I don't like to do.
I've always had people to do the jobs I don't like doing , laundry gets taken to the cleaners , food can be ordered ready cooked or I can go out for dinner.
I like being the best at my job because then I get top dollar, which in turn allows me to be more in control of what I want to do, I can work for a few months then just sod off on holiday for a few months.
I'm happiest being my own boss and because I put in the hard work as a twenty something I can now take it a lot easier and I get to call the shots when it comes to negotiating new contracts.
