I can across this on Max Yield magazine!
HID SMART 6
I emailed them about their freedom tehcnology and got this reponse.
"Our micro-controlled technology breaks up any pattern in switching from light to light. It is programmed to generate a random code and switch all lights within a 60 second time span but will not repeat any pattern of switching for 500,000 years. To answer your second question, this unit is designed for streamlined operation. This means two 12/12 areas, and a separate 18/6 area for the fast turn times. We will have an 18/6 controller soon that will offer a less but effective version of the FREEDOM TECHNOLOGY incorporated as well.
I'll post a review of the controller after i play with it, i ordered a 10 to 20 switcher!bmwboy713 Reviewed by bmwboy713 on . Check this out!!! I can across this on Max Yield magazine! I read it and it will only work if your running 2 or more flower boxes. Will not help for 18/6 veg cycle.

To add a little more. Only if you are running a extreamly large opperation or a commercial greenhouse would it justify the cost.
then you state save me $750.00. IT COSTS $900.00. I don't see any savings. There is no energy savings unless you are billed by demand and usage as far as I know only commercial buildings are billed that way not residential.
The other thing is that it is a very well worded sales pitch to get you to buy something for $900.00 where as if it sold for $250.00 they would still make a good proffit. IMO.

I liked the part where it cost $400 to install three receptacles but only $150 to install two. That last 3' of wire really drives up the cost of a job.
