i got a perfectly good one for .99$ at beginning of the grow.

theyre usually in 15min increments and can be set by eith pushing/pulling, raising/lowering the pegs. mine you add up to 4 pegs for on and off because as it rotates the pegs trigger one of 2 switches (switches height corresponds to hight of lump on peg)
