They weren't quite high enough to ride our bikes in, but we hiked all over the place. One of the favorite tunnel-paths led under the roads to the local Safeway. Saved a going over a very busy road and avoided a nasty climb, too! Thank you, for bringing back a childhood memory!

Oh! Watch out for SKUNKS!!! We had a few potentially disastrous encounters. Luckily, skunk's eyes glow brightly in a flashlight's beam! We also ran into a few non-poisonous snakes. So keep an eye out for the wildlife! - Granny:hippy:

nah thats water runoff youre sweet man. Actual sewers can be very dangerous though and inquisitive kids have died in them from carbon monoxide poisoning, roto rooters use biovac suits to give you an idea.

Theres this place around the mall area...where everything good is at i guess...anyways....theres this big tunnel you can walk through which alot of people go to smoke pot...when you go farther down the tunnels, it gets smaller...tall enough for a 6 foot person. and VERY dark....we ran through it (a bunch of people...hehe) then we got to the other side....but it was very dark and long....funny sounds too...plus that dark tunneled area is where the supposed satan worshippers do rituals..
then me and a friend ran through the tunnels high as HELL....and it was awesome...couldn't see shit...nothing but pitch blackness running to knowhere it seems...crazy shit man..

Dude! Didn't you read "It" or see the mini-series? Evil, murderous, shape-shifting clowns live in places like that! You go down there and get baked you'll be a sitting duck if one of them finds you. And even if you manage to elude cops, rats, and Pennywise, there is always the danger of stumbling upon an enclave of C.H.U.D.! My advice is to avoid that place like the plague!

Stormcrow, the ones I was talking about are in San Diego too. One started near a recreation center where I used to play soccer, and I think it came out near Taft junior high school. From what I remember, it was pretty much a straight shot with no branches, but it had a few ladders that went up to storm drains. I think they eventualy put a gate on it so you couldn't go in. Then there was a longer one that had an entrance off of Friars road, and that one was huge.
