Thats just my point. We don't make good decisions as a whole anymore. We've become too lazy to research very far into any one candidate. Don't get me wrong, There are a number of people who actually research there choices. I just think that number is far too low. Then subtract for the informed but misguided. what are we left with?? 5% maybe 10% of Americans who actually know and do right?
Not good enough for me. I think our selection process should be more scientific and accurate. A popularity contest is really better left to high school class president.
Besides just that, we support our elections very little. By that I mean, It should be a national holiday. Hello, can you think of a stronger American tradition than voting?? Why are the working stiffs getting the hard end of voting? While business owners can leave there manager in charge.
I work very hard to survive(40-50hrs/wk). No down time for me, I have a daughter to support. I can say without a doubt that some of my voting hardships were caused by having to work all day. So from my standpoint, I'm very worried. Truth be told, I don't have too much time to research all my politics. I'd prefer knowing that the most knowledgeable Candidates are making the decisions with my support.
Zcomp Reviewed by Zcomp on . In Need of a New electoral process? Ladies and Gentlemen, I believe our electoral process is a joke. Based on lies and deceit. The more you can scare Americans to your side the better you do. I think our electoral process should be different. I believe candidates should be tested on there knowledge of the past in concert with the position they seek. For instance, The president should have learned from all the lessons of the past. They should know every action of leaders of the past and what there respective results were. Rating: 5
