need help growing

hi well im new to growing and basically wat i have picked up to stat wit from other topics is

get seeds put in warm water for aout 2 days
then put into a paper towel for about 3 days n a window sill is this correct


also is it ok to grow during the winter i live in ky its not ot ut its not very cold at the time if i wanna grow inside what materials would i need please help thanks

well what i did was put half a 20oz bottel of water than i put bleach in the cap and put the contents of the cap in the bottle of water but before you do that put the seeds in before you put the bleach in. wait till all seeds desend to the bottem of the bottle. get the seeds out put them on a word dam paper towels
rap it up and put it in a plastic bag. then put it in a dark area and give a 24 hours. the go look at them and some of them sould be starting to come out of there seed. i have done this once and all of my 35 seeds started to come out of there shell with in a period of 3 days. on the first day it was like 10 or 12 but anyways tell me if this works for you. you sould be a happy camper hope io help u out. oo and also when they start to bust out there seed they are ready to plant just to let you know.

you can bleach your seeds? wouldnt that kill it?

umm not if you put a small amout of it in there. if you fill it to the top hell yeah your going to kill them just a 1 cap off your bottle full of bleach is all that is needed.

jeff 35? thats overdoing it we may have had twenty and only planted like 4 but i want to experiment when we do it this time find out which way is best i think since we have plenty of time before we plant we should try the warm water thing im not sure why warm water would effect it,maybe it slightly decomposes the shell? or softens it i can see how cold water could have an adverse effect but room tempeture would be fine maybe it wasnt the bleach at all but just the water

well we will see umm hopefully i will get some seed just to experment with but yeah just try both ways and see which is faster.like 5 in bottle and 5 the other way.
