Cfl Grow First Journal

Hey all this is my first journal but not the first grow. The cab is 38"h x 2.5'w x 2' it used to be a C13 but was cut down to house smaller plants and lights. The strain is some sh@t bag seed that I get on the street here. I figured why am I paying for this crap when i have experience enough to grow it. This cab will turn into a veg/mother/cloning room when I finish my real cab. I purchased some 250whps ballasts and just waiting for the money to buy the bulbs and reflector for a new scrog set-up. Also I ordered some seeds Master Kush from Nirvanna (Gypsy is my hero and always has been). I hope he'll send me one of the freebies I requested he is pretty good for that. Anyway on with the show. I will keep this updated as much as possible, but seeing as I only run CFL the grow rate is pretty slow(though I think it's the seeds).
So I started with about 20 seeds and look how many I ended up with--LOL. I can't wait to grow some REAL plants again.

Just an update: I will continue this grow log by myself and thanks for those who are looking.

Day 40 of 24/7 lights

CFL are 55w each for a total of 165 right now, I have three more however I will add them when this girl puts on some weight as she is the only one I have right now. I have started the LST process to create a bushier plant and want to see how big this baby can get. This plant is going to be vegged until I finish the flower room and have an absolute female from the seeds I receive. Temp is about 79F and drops to about 55F at night, I might turn the heater portion of that fan on so I can keep the temps up at night-I think this may be causing the slow growth, though that nute burn issue didn't look too promising. I also removed the some of the leaves that were blocking the light from reaching the nodes. I will let these nodes grow up until they are long enough to stretch over to the sides and this will create a nice open canopy for all the nodes to receive light.

My seeds are on their way and I still have to finish building the flower room to house the 2 x 250w hps lights I showed earlier.

This girl should be a mother donor for future experimental purposes.

Looks like you have some issues. For 40 days your plant is extremely small.
You should not remove any leaves at this point, it will only stunt growth.
Also, the 55 degrees at night is a bit too cold and will affect the growth as well.
You also have nute issues, very likely that is because your PH is off.

When I started I had similar issues, and then I got the PH right and in 30 days my plant was over 1 foot tall.

what Bulster said and try giving your plant 18 hours light 6 hours dark. they need the dark time to grow, and repair itself.

Thanks Bulster for looking, the heat issue was ther reason these slowed, plus I stupidly started out with 20-20-20 and burned them, I lost three and was left with this one. It eventually died when I left the heater on all night. Oh well it was only bag seed.
Plenty more of those crappy seeds. Now I have started new seeds, so I tend to invest a little more interest in them.

Thanks iriebowl I have grown both ways and I find that it really doesn't matter much (never noticed any change in growth).

So here is an update, I have received my light and my seeds, i started 5 Master Kush and two freebies. Looks like they are movin'.
