Looks like you have some issues. For 40 days your plant is extremely small.
You should not remove any leaves at this point, it will only stunt growth.
Also, the 55 degrees at night is a bit too cold and will affect the growth as well.
You also have nute issues, very likely that is because your PH is off.

When I started I had similar issues, and then I got the PH right and in 30 days my plant was over 1 foot tall.

Thanks Bulster for looking, the heat issue was ther reason these slowed, plus I stupidly started out with 20-20-20 and burned them, I lost three and was left with this one. It eventually died when I left the heater on all night. Oh well it was only bag seed.
Plenty more of those crappy seeds. Now I have started new seeds, so I tend to invest a little more interest in them.

what Bulster said and try giving your plant 18 hours light 6 hours dark. they need the dark time to grow, and repair itself.

Thanks iriebowl I have grown both ways and I find that it really doesn't matter much (never noticed any change in growth).

The cab is 38"h x 2.5'w x 2' it used to be a C13 but was cut down to house smaller plants and lights. The strain is some sh@t bag seed that I get on the street here. I figured why am I paying for this crap when i have experience enough to grow it. This cab will turn into a veg/mother/cloning room when I finish my real cab.
