OK, So your new to all this aeroponic stuff and wondering how to get your hands on one well here are some instruction on how to build your own...

I will be adding plans that I have found and modified or just came up with on my own. This first one is my absolute favorite as it is cheap, easy to build, very versatile, and its an aeroponics system which I like best.

Requirements:

* 1 24-34 gallon rubbermaid toughtote (reservoir) 4 ft. 3/4 in. PVC pipe
* 1 3/4 PVC "T" with Female hose threads
* 1 3/4 in. PVC endcap
* 1 3/4 in male hose adapter
* 1 male hose thread to 3/8 barbed adapter
* 3 ft 3/8 poly or vynil tubing
* 1 garden hose cap
* 5 360 degree spray heads
* 1 350+ GPH submersible pump

This is really simple so dont make it too hard on yourself

1. In the center of your res on either of the short sides with a handle drill a hole about 3-5 inches from the top just smaller than the outside diameter of you 3/4 in PVC pipe. measure the same distance from the top on the other side and drill another hole the same size as your first

2. Measure the inside length of your res (from hole to hole) divide it by 2 and cut two pieces of pvc pipe to this length, it can be a little longer BUT NO SHORTER

3. Slide one piece of the PVC pip into the hole you drilled in your res, snug fit? thats good we did that on purpose to stop leaks

4. Take you PVC "T" with FHT and screw the MHT to 3/8 in. barbed adapter into it then slide it onto the PVC pipe you just installed in your res.

5. Glue the 3/4 in. endcap onto the outside end of the first PVC pipe

6. Glue the 3/4 in male garden hose adapter onto the outside end of the other PVC pipe

7. Slide the second PVC pipe through the second hole and into the last part of the "T"

8. Install the pump following manufacturers guidelines

9. Take the 3/8 in. poly or vinyl tubing and connect the pump to the "T"

10. Drill and tap holes for the spray heads (5) seems to work well for me but you can do it however it suits you best. I used a 10/32 tap

11. On the lid mark the location of your plant sites and cut them however you want, I used a razor knife, I have heard others use hole saws, its not rocket science people, however you want to cut a hole in a plastic lid, go for it.
