Correct on the Sal, incorrect on the second guess. The purple flowers are plain ol pansies and primrose (in back). My son and I put together a little indoor living arrangement for mom.

I wouldn't know. If everything goes as planned, I'll be able to let you know in about 10 years. Slowest growing plant ever. Quite a unique, and sadly endangered specimen.

Just speaking from personal experience on legal toxins, if you ever decide to toy around with Datura, just admire them for their flowers. Nothing else. That plant is wicked toxic and can make otherwise sane people to completely insane things. But many of them are gorgeous when they're in bloom, and worth having around for purely aesthetic purposes.
Thanks for your wisdom and concern. That was one I left off the list of seeds. There are 5 other ethnobotanicals that I now have the seeds for and will soon be attempting to germinate. At this time I will not disclose their identity, since that might ruin the fun of any potential guessing games for fun and prizes.
