I use two kinds of velcro.
One kind has strips of velcro with adhesive on the back, The other kind comes on a roll, and has hooks on one side, and loops on the other.
I put the sticky backed stuff on the pot edges, and on bamboo stakes. Then I use the stuff on the roll to hold the plants where I want them.
