LSTTT: Low Stress Twisty Tie Training
INSpecta, thank you for stopping by and looking. I'll just let you browse, but please let me know if there's anything I can help you pick out.
Thanks for the compliments. I'll see if I can take a look at your grow tomorrow. I just got done cleaning up kind of a major disaster, or potential one, and it's getting late. Right now I just want to take a couple of hits, feed the dogs, have some pie, take a shower, make love to my wife, and have a nice deep long relaxing sleep, mostly in that order.
I made two of those automatic PH dosers in the faqs, and was trying them out today with my two little reservoirs. I should have started earlier, because at normal lights out time was too late to fire it up for the first time. I have to either dilute the PH down at least twice as much, or move the spout closer to the probe, or shut down the valve even more. I'm getting way too big of flow at once, and I'll give more detail later, but let's just say one res was sitting at 2.6 for about 10 minutes, and the other at 3.1. After flushing my ass off for 1 1/2 hr I finally got them back up to 6, where they will spend the night in pure water with a little flushing agent.
Lesson well learned. Does anyone want to take a stab at how screwed I am. Are my plants dead? By the time I was done I noticed the leaves of plants in the smaller res were starting to curl under a little. I expect it to get worse. I just hope I don't open up the cabinet after my long nites' sleep to discover a bunch of fried plants, just when they were coming along so good. I'd take a couple pictures, but they've had enough light stress for one night.
Gnight all.
