So, a couple months ago I got busted for "Attempted Aggravated Furnishing of a Schedule 'Z' Drug."

This is so stupid. What a waste of my time and money. I could possibly go to jail for nine months.

My cool barber told me to look up court cases regarded weed in Maine, where I got busted, which is a good idea for anyone that gets busted. All the first time offenses were downgraded to a fine or dismissed, which is probably going to happen, so that's good!

You know, I am not a criminal. I saw this cool little picture in some weed magazine I was reading. It showed scientific botany pictures of cannabis seeds and leaves. It read, "NO VICTIM, NO CRIME."

So simple, yet so true.

The ridiculous thing is weed is decriminalized in Maine. You can possess up to two and a half OUNCES, and it's just like getting an expensive traffic ticket, but passing a roach is a crime.

Did I do something stupid? Yes. I took a tiny hit off a roach in a parking lot, and passed it to a minor, who did not take a hit (thank god) because he was already baked. All this in front of undercover cops. Should I go to jail for it? No. Should I stand trial for it? Of course not.

I am so sick of cops and our tyrannical government, if Ron Paul doesn't get elected, my wife and I are going to consider moving to Montreal or Vancouver, Canada (from the USA.) A friend of mine said the last time he went to Montreal, his friend got shitfaced, and was smoking a joint on the sidewalk, having a hard time lighting it. Cops walked by and laughed at him, and said, "Well, you can't handle your shit," then walked away.

Lessons learned: Don't smoke in public. duh. Also, do extensive research regarding the laws in your state. Look at the official government website, and don't rely on NORML or any other source to post or explain all the laws.

I am going to call my lame-ass lawyer that is charging $200 an hour out of my $2500 retainer, and ask what the fuck he needs me to do, since he hasn't called me, not even to tell me the case was going to trial. It's nice to find something like that out in the mail instead of by phone. For that very reason whenever there is a death in the family, I send everyone the news by mail instead of calling.

I just want to move out to the country in Maine, and grow my own shit, and get left the fuck alone!

Everyone else that is going through the same bullshit, I wish you luck. Let's get the federal laws regarding marijuana repealed, and end The War on Drugs, which is really a war on us, the American people. They don't kill us, they just take our money, and throw us in jail. And of course, the prison industry and legal industry flourishes, and the cops in a peaceful, quiet, Maine towns have something to do besides investigate stolen bicycles.

Just be sure and try to be repectful to the judge. The judge has the say in a most of these cases. If he's in a good mood you'll probably only get a day in jail and a fine. And most Sherriffs don't want these kinds of cases clogging up there jails when there are real criminals that need locking up.

Good luck man..First things first..get out of this jam that your in...do some research of old cases such as this..the actual crime they are trying to convict you of..I never wait on some fancy lawyer to do the research when you could easily do it..fire his ass and represent yourself..you can do it..and win..you want NO crime on your record..if you played it right..hell..you never know..you could get nothing.,

I am just going to keep my lawyer rather than represent myself. I thought about representing myself, but I am afraid of fucking it up. I have so much riding on this, because I want to get another federal job.... see how they getcha? bastards.

Sorry, it wasn't meant as a cheap shot, I think that you should consider all of the facts of this situation in order to better defend yourself ,denial isn't going to make the facts go away. I really do hope you get off ; again good luck.
