Cooking times and temperatures.

The most critical aspect of the process.

Here I must say a big â??Thank Youâ?? to all the people who took the time and trouble to post up there personal experiences (good and bad), you guys really helped refine the process and showed everyone else what the potential pitfalls can be and how to avoid them. Cheers on behalf of us all â?? you know who you are.

As itâ??s already been covered in some detail Iâ??ll keep this part brief, but to reiterate Weedhoundâ??s most excellent advice, keep it slow and steady.
Around 225 to 250 Fahrenheit is fine.
Everyoneâ??s cooker will operate at slightly different temperatures, so get an accurate thermometer if you can, and if you want to perfect the technique, prepare a batch of oil in a cup or similar (Pyrex lab wear if you want to be really accurate) and try a couple. Give it a couple of days for your tolerance to reset, reheat the oil again at a higher temp or for a longer time, and sample again. Hell itâ??s fun, and the benefits are, youâ??ll end up using less THC for a stronger â??highâ?? when youâ??ve got the method right for your kit.

Keep up the good work
Cheers
