Cannabis Capsules â?? A step-by-step guide.

Alright, checking back in roughly 45 minutes later, the room smells fragrant of coconut oil, which is quite pleasant. It's a very dark olive color in the bottom of the stoneware teacup, so I'm assuming my ratio is pretty good. The temperature is now at a steady 210f and I'm going to leave simmering for about another 45 minutes, since it's keif and not bud.

My empty capsules aren't here yet, but when this is finished, I plan on letting it cool, then cutting off a few pill-sized tabs and popping 'em for testing purposes.

I've turned the crockpot off about 10 minutes ago, but I decided to leave the contents inside for a bit longer, while it cools down.

It smells a bit more like pot now instead of just coconut oil like it was before, but hardly noticeable at all if you weren't specifically sniffing for it.

I'm about to put it some place cold now and let it sit so it'll set.

I hope this batch doesn't turn out disappointing. I'll be sure to post back later with trial results.

Alrighty. Back.

I popped it in the freezer for a bit to cool, and it solidified really well. I popped about what I estimated to be, about 2 capsules worth, since I don't actually have the capsules at this time. everything LOOKED okay. I'm hoping this turns out well, since I used my entire keif supply on this trial.

I consumed at roughly 1:38PM CST, so I'll be coming back after awhile to report how I feel.

Notes after consuming roughly 2 pills worth of cannacap solution.

consumption occurred at roughly 1:38PM CST.

1:52PM: I feel a very slight feeling of relaxation in my forehead.

It feels as if the feeling is slowly washing over me, with the

starting point being the top mid center of my forehead. This is a

VERY light feeling, and isn't really a "high" feeling, as of yet,

but it's still VERY early, so I'm surprised I'm even feeling

anything at all. I'll just chalk this up to placebo for now.

2:06PM: Almost finished eating some Burger King. Mmm. Nothing new

so far, as far as sensation goes. Feeling pretty normal at the

moment, so I'm guessing the feeling earlier was just in my head

afterall.

2:11PM: Done eating.

2:39PM: Nothing yet. Currently talking on the phone with a friend,

and I'm not yet experiencing any change in my behavior/personality,

so I'd still say it hasn't kicked in yet.

2:43PM: I'm about to go and take a nice hot shower to pass some

time, and to help relax.

3:10PM: My shower is over, and I've yet to feel any familiar

effects, or any effects for that matter. I'm really tempted to

smoke, but for the sake of the test, I'll need to back off for a

bit longer.

3:14PM: Two deep stomach belches have occured that tasted of the BK

eaten earlier. Slight affects felt afterword. Nothing major, just a

slight tingle throughout my body.

3:25PM: no more sensations to report. Sensations felt at 3:14PM may

have been placebo only. Disappointment is plentiful at the moment.

3:31PM: Id be lying if I said I'd felt absolutely nothing at this

point. The sensation I'm currently feeling isn't anything

spectacular, but it's slightly noticable. I'd compare this feeling

to the final stages of a high after you've smoked a bowl, and it's

right about to wear off.

3:42PM same sensations as earlier. Maybe they're slightly stronger

than at 3:31PM, but I can't really gauge it. I'm considering taking

a bong rip while waiting.

3:47PM The sensations come and go. For awhile I feel them, then the

next few minutes I feel absolutely sober. I think I'll actually go

ahead with that bong rip soon, to see if that'll get this show on

the road.

5:12PM After feeling very relaxed around 4:00PM to around 4:30PM,

I'm going to deduce that I may not have had enough keif, although

the mixture appears to be quite even, with the oil used. I'm

guessing it's half strength, since I've taken about 2 pills worth,

and only felt what 1 pill sounds like it should have done. I have a

bit more time to kill, so I'm about to double up now, and take what

I think is 4 pills worth.

5:30PM Just took double the amount I took earlier, which I assume

is 4 pills worth. I'm going to see how this goes. I'm still feeling

pretty high from the bong rip I took around 4:45PM, I'm sure the

earlier consumed weed may be contributing to it. Based on the most

peoples experiences, I should be really feeling it around 7:00PM.

Let's hope so, or I'll be rather disappointed.

7:19PM Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I'm very disappointed, but
honestly, I didn't expect it to be perfect the first time. I feel
this very baseline high, like I took a halfass hit off of a joint.
I don't see how this is possible after using double of what I took
earlier. Time to reheat for longer with a bit more heat. This will
most likely be done tomorrow, as I'm a bit too pissed to be
bothered with it at the moment.

I'll be reporting back tomorrow with the results after simmering for 2 more hours on around 225f.

I think you need to get the temperature up some more..

It took me a few goes to get it right.. try getting the mix up to 230-250.. Should be better...

Little tip...

It does my head in having to measure out the Oil, if its been in the fridge you have to mash it into the measuring spoons and just annoys me... Anything that makes life easier is worth the effort.

What i did was get a fair amount of it into a liquid state and then using a siringe suck up 7ml of the stuff and then put it into an ice cube tray... fill it up and you should be good to go for a while.. Just give the bottom of the tray a rub to ease the release of the oil cube. Each cube is good for 1g of hash / 1.5g of bud. ( going on flame's recipie )

Oh, i also weighed a cube and it was 6.8g. I'm thinking it would have been perfect if it was 7g.. maybe it should be?!

230-250 eh? I'll give it a shot. My capsules arrived today, bringing with them, a second wind to give this another shot. I'm about to go out and grab some hydro, and attempt to use that. I'll report back with the results when things get underway.
