Hillary Clinton's planted question gaffe
Killerweed's right. They all do it.
If it helps you keep this in perspective, the Bush administration makes sure his audiences for personal appearances where there'll be questions and answers are quite literally hand-picked and heavily screened so they won't ask certain questions about controversial subjects, questions that'd be too difficult for him to answer, questions that might make him look dumb(er) or questions that might prompt objections or protests. This has been done since the first year he was in office, when they learned the hard way he wasn't a skilled extemporaneous speaker who could field questions without embarrassing himself or others. (Cheney can, but he rarely does Q & A sessions and insists on stringent screenings, too.) This has been reported in the media, too, and is a matter of record that the administration doesn't deny. A former speechwriting colleague at the company I used to work for now works in the White House Office of Communications and is part of the "advance team" that helps screen and pre-prepare his audiences.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
