Plastic Surgery on children with Syndrom of Down
I am going to play devil's advocate.
If the amount of ridiculing and jeering at school could be reduced so that the child may have as normal a life as possible, wouldnt you want your child to have the most normal life possible?
If the parents are willing to pay in order for their child to have as normal a body as other children, can we blame them for that? Can we call them vain? Maybe. But then you would be a hypocrite for your vanities as well.
Ill be damned if there arent aspects of everybody's apearance here that isnt vain, trite, and done only for aesthetic approval of one's self and others.
