Note: In summer this trail does become somewhat overgrown by weeds. Be careful and use bug spray if you attempt this cache during summer. Located near hiking trail, easy walk for all ages. Trailhead at: N 34 49.325 W 077 08.983

This cache is another in a series placed in the outdoors to honor my father. We fished in the White Oak nearby. He is no longer with me but I am sure he watches over the caches for me.

This cache is a standard ammo container on the ground. Inside you will find items to be used for hiking and the outdoors. Items include: band-aids, signal reflector, key chain, flashlight, poncho, logbook and other items.

A camera is included to record your visit, please take a picture and sign camera log.

Bushwacking is not required nor reccomended until you get with in 100' of cache.

Visit other caches in this series.

NOTE: I visit this area several times each month (second home nearby) so any cache maintenance should present no problem. Just let me know and I'll take care of it.

    In United Kingdom
This is a small breath strip container hidden on Blow-up Bridge at the northern edge of Regentâ??s Park.

Regentâ??s Park is one of the most beautiful of Londonâ??s major parks and is known as the "jewel in the crown" of Londonâ??s parks. Originally owned by Henry VIII, it was redesigned in 1811 by John Nash, who created a rounded shape, a long boating lake, and a second home for the prince. The park was closed to the public until 1845, when Queen Victoria opened it two days a week. Now it is open every day from dawn to dusk.

Blow-up Bridge The cache is located at Blow-up Bridge, known as Macclesfield Bridge today. It obtained the nickname in 1874 when a barge carrying gunpowder exploded. Although the bridge was destroyed and the cast-iron columns were blown down, they were reused during reconstruction and are still supporting the bridge today. For more information on the explosion and how it affected 19th century London, see this link.

You are searching for a breath strip container painted to match its surroundings. The cache contains a log only, so bring your own pen or pencil. You will not need to leave the path to retrieve or replace the cache, but be mindful of traffic on the bridge if you bring pets or small children.

If you are not from the UK and are planning a caching trip to the UK email me via gc.com if you would like info about London caching, to have a local guide or to meet for a beer. Also have a look at the links below for lots of relevant information.

Cool, where have you been in Belgium?

It's not entirely legal in Belgium, but we are allowed to smoke on our own property. Not in public. And we might grow 1 plant legally.

Any members? Me and maybe some others.

I wouldnt mind going walking. I used to do abit of hiking, nothing big though rofl. Down a few roads and over a couple of hills. Hiking was how i broke my army issue boots in. Only took a couple of days of heavy walking. Had enough blisters to last me a lifetime, but they never did me wrong after that. Still got em.

Yes, I'm native. If you mean I was born in Belgium . I'm from the Flemish part of Belgium (dutch speaking).
Extra info: Belgium is divided in 2 parts: Vlaanderen (dutch speaking) and Wallonie (french speaking). Also a little German speaking part, but that part belongs to Wallonie. This situation give lots of problems nowadays. At the moment we don't even have a government (day 155 of the crisis): lots of discussion between Vlaanderen & Wallonie. This discussion might be the beginning of the end of Belgium.

What do you mean with "caches"?

It is a worldwide game that I play called Geocaching...

I dont think I am going to shave this whole trip...I think hitchiking would save me a lot of cash too.

Good luck, hitchhiking is illegal in most places and will earn you a search and a visit to the lockup.

If you can find good transportation, even a network of potheads you can call to help each leg of the trip, it's a GREAT plan!

I already know some geocache spots, and a couple that I don't think have caches yet, but are FULLY worthy of having them added, like the Monks Cave at Wendell MA- a buried beehive structure thought to have been built by Irish monks in pre-Columbian times.

Shaving and regular haircuts are a good idea if you intend to have to hitchhike at all; it's a LOT easier to get picked up if you look like you're just a local dude with an OUI and a job to get to...

Oh..you party pooper. LOL...no, I always talk about not shaving and not getting a haircut..but for whatever reason, I always end up doing it anyway..
Those cache spots sound cool. But the idea of this trip is very intriguing..can you imagine the possibilties? and the people you would meet? it would be a once in a lifetime event for sure.

Oh, and once I get to your house, I will do some reorganizing for you...get those boards and I will put your floor in for you too.
