I can get power corn and plug ... no problem Ok, i will do that ....from timer to another power strip . Can this solve my problem ? ?

I can turn it on when i touch the bulb ! Silly but truly !

This explains everything - it's a male bulb. (my "bulb" has the same reaction when my wife touches it.) Maybe if you hang a naked photo of yourself next to the light, it will turn itself on when you're not around.
