hello chronic, weed is a plant and does not let off anymore heat than any other plant. you may be thinking of the heat givin off by the lamps when grown indoors.

good luck on your grow. i grow outdoors in tennessee, with good results. i usually plant in mid apr. so the plants don't get too big....they still reach about 7'-8'. just make shure they get plenty of sun and are close to a fresh water source.

i usually plant about ten or more plants in each plot and then pull out the males. i have had about 80%-90% female before as well as 80%-90% male before. i have found that if the seeds are planted directly in the ground i usually get more females, good nitrogen from the start also helps...as well as planting the seeds spaced out from each other.
