first post :) arrrggg plants turning yellowish!

hey guys, sorry if i come across as a total noob, but ive had a few plants growing in a rock-wool medium. oxygenated water is constantly being pumped to the plants and the excess is drained back into a reservoir.

basically my plants are starting to turn yellow from the middle of the leaf outward.... my PH is getting a little high, being around 7.3. i originally thought it was nutrient burn, but i flushed my water and have been giving it nothing but water for day 2 now. then i read that higher PH levels can hinder nitrogen intake, so it could be a nitrogen deficiency but im not sure. maybe you guys can help?

sounds like your assumptions are reasonable at least; I wouldn't know anything better to suggest. It looks like it's not getting enough N and that would be a result of a nute lockout from pH being too high. But I would give them a very mild nute solution rather than straight water.

lower your ph to somewherre between 5.5-6.5

nitrogen and perhaps other nutes are being locked out

\"That\'s the only way you can solve the problem, with a paradox, man.\"
