Do we really want it legalized???

Everyone should plant seeds everywhere.

That'd cost too much money for them to cut down every cannabis plant. We'll do to them what the Japanese did to America at Pearl Harbor. All of a sudden, one day, America will be under attack by cannabis trees.

worst idea ever, keep smoking and maybe u might get smart.
I smoke/eat/inhale/digest weed/hash/kief/butter whenever I want, because I don\'t think what I do is wrong, and neither should anyone else when they partake of the bud.

I'm simple all I really want is to be able to smoke my medicine and not have to worry about loosing my freedom or job. Legalizing it would get rid of the "Secrecy" of smoking pot. Trust me if you smoke you want it legal nothing less, after all why should you be punished for doing something that is not wrong. And by the way, the majority of commercial pot does not come from peacefull hippies but from mexican cartels. And if you think no one has caught a bullet for mj in the current state of things you are dead wrong. Legalize Ja!@

you're wrong...tobacco companies produce tobacco, because it's addictive, more addictive than heroin...they don't want to sell marijuana..because people can willingly quit, and you could possibly lose money..peaceful hippies grow their own pot and smoke it, we're not taking anything from them by legalizing it, we're just ensuring that they wont go to jail for doing something that ultimately affects noone but themselves and themselves only. The drug cartels from mexico are the ones making the money off of marijuana, and it should be given to our economy rather than mexico..legalize it and sell it cheaper than it is on the street for a much higher quality of product, and you've eliminated the criminals.

Do we really want it legalized???

I was thinking about this the other day.
I can't see how the U.S. would be the first to "legalize" ANYTHING.
the U.S. wouldn't want to have tourists from all over the world come to smoke. shit, the U.S. wants most immigrants out. Legalizing would bring people from all over the world.
and as much as it hurts me to say, legalization seems so far-fetched. i have a feeling even the most liberal of politicians know "legalizing" weed could have SERIOUS affects on society.

now, i usually think about liquor being legal at this point.
but liquor is now accepted as a social trademark of sorts. you know, the bearded lager-gulper or the artsy bohemian whisky drinker or even the weekend warrior vodka downer.
these are all accepted types of people in society. maybe one finds a little too much pleasure in the bottle. but when that happends they are considered to be just "drinking too much". and that passes then they are seen as "normal" member of society.

weed-smokers have always been shunned. i couldn't see a parent say, "oh, josh. he's fine, he has just been smoking a little too much marijuana" as apposed to the now ULTRA-common "yea, he's been drinking too much".

i might just be really high right now but it makes sense to me.

i think decriminalization is a more realistic policy.

Ok here's the way I see it. The government needs to legalize it, the taxes collected by them off weed could pay off some serious debt, like the cost of this fuckin war, amongst others. Secondly, its not as bad as cigarettes but theyre taxing the hell out of them and they know their addictive and they'll kill ya.. And if you do legalize it and sell it, stick a label on it with the warnings like they do liquor and cigs, like DO NOT OPERATE MACHINERY AND SUCH..Be a responsible drug dealer Mr.President..LOL:thumbsup:Not to mention the crime rate would probably drop cause I know when Im blazed the last thing im tryna do is get up and go fuck up....

The only way it would be legal would be if the government could tax it, and you would probably need to get a permit to grow it, to keep from "lacing" would be my guess. I hit a blunt that was laced with PCP and i didnt know....was not good. Plus people would be able to trust the major corporations, I just hope they dont add all the chemicals like in cigs.

I've never believed in anything more strongly and passionately in my life. Cannabis should be legalized. You're such a pessimist, seriously, the grand prospect of legalization and all you can think about are tobacco companies who will get some profits if they sell it. They're not robbing any hippies. This isn't about money, it's about FREEDOM and LIBERTY and OPPRESION
